Privacy policy
How we handle your information, and how to contact us.
Effective date: 14 October 2026
Nitro Kart is developed by NuBit Studio. This policy explains how we handle information when you play Nitro Kart, use its connected services, visit its website or contact us. The Android app's package name is com.nitroarena.kart.
For privacy questions or requests, email Nubitdev@gmail.com.
1. Information used by the game
Progress and preferences. The game stores progress, gems, unlocked karts and characters, cosmetic choices, levels, achievements, quests, match statistics and settings on your device. Cloud-connected profiles can also include your player name, collection, progression and Championship Cup records. Control layout and audio preferences remain on the device.
Account and sign-in information. Google Play Games can sign you in on Android and provide your gamer name and player identifier. Connecting a Google account to cloud features links your Play Games identity to a Unity player identifier. Unity Authentication also creates a player identifier when connected features need a guest account. The game uses sign-in credentials or authorization tokens to establish these connections. We do not receive your Google account password, and you should never send it to us.
Online play and friends. Online services process player identifiers, player names, room and session information, friends and invitations, selected karts, characters and cosmetics, match actions and scores. Network providers also receive connection information such as your IP address. The game uses preset messages rather than a free-text chat box.
Competition records. When you use online rankings, we process submitted scores, player identifiers, competition dates, round and match identifiers, and records used to validate results and prevent duplicate claims.
Device and service information. Unity, Google and network providers may process technical information needed to operate their services, including IP addresses, device or app identifiers, operating-system or app versions, service activity and diagnostic information. An IP address may indicate an approximate region. Nitro Kart does not request access to your precise GPS location, phone contacts, camera or microphone for its gameplay features.
Support requests. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents and attachments you choose to send. Please do not send passwords, authentication tokens or unnecessary sensitive information.
2. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Run the game, save progress and apply your settings.
- Sign players in and link or restore connected profiles.
- Synchronize cloud saves across devices and resolve save conflicts.
- Connect online matches, friends and invitations.
- Display competition results and rankings.
- Validate results, prevent abuse and protect the services.
- Diagnose service problems, answer support requests and handle privacy requests.
- Meet applicable legal obligations.
We do not add your support email to a marketing mailing list merely because you contact us.
3. Information visible to other players
Your player name, selected kart, character, cosmetics, match statistics and gameplay activity can be visible to other people in your multiplayer session or through social features. Player identifiers, display names, competition scores and ranks may be shown through ranking services where those fields are available.
Your saved gem balance and complete cloud-save profile are not published as a public cloud-save file. Use a nickname rather than personal contact details for your player name.
4. Service providers and sharing
Nitro Kart uses the following providers to deliver connected features:
- Unity Gaming Services: Authentication, Cloud Save, Cloud Code, Leaderboards, Multiplayer/Relay and Friends. These services process the account, save, social, match, ranking and technical information needed for their features. See Unity's privacy policy and Unity's game-player privacy policy.
- Google Play Games and Google Play: Google provides Android sign-in and platform services and handles its own account and platform information. See Google's privacy policy.
- Support email and website hosting providers: These providers process email or website requests needed to deliver our support and website, including request or connection metadata.
Nitro Kart also includes Unity LevelPlay and Google AdMob advertising integrations. Their current status and future use are explained below. Provider access is tied to the services and features in use; including an SDK does not by itself mean that every optional feature is enabled.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect players and the services, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate protections and any notice required by law.
5. Advertising and privacy choices
Rewarded advertising is disabled in the current tester release, version 0.3.0 (7). That release does not offer completed live rewarded-ad views.
The game contains integrations for optional rewarded advertising through Unity LevelPlay and Google AdMob. If we enable ads in a later release, this policy and the game's disclosures will be updated to match the actual configuration. Advertising providers can process advertising or app-set identifiers, IP addresses, approximate region, device and app information, ad interactions and diagnostic information for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. See Google's advertising information and Unity's privacy policies linked above.
The implemented ad flow asks for an age category and, when applicable, advertising privacy choices. It does not request an exact birth date. Its current configuration does not initialize real ads for players who select “under 18” or “prefer not to say.” For eligible adults, ad requests also require the permission returned by the consent system. Advertising privacy choices, where available, can be changed through the game's Settings. Android also provides controls for resetting or deleting the advertising ID.
An advertising age screen does not replace any parental consent required for account, cloud or online services.
6. Children and families
Nitro Kart can be played by different age groups. Children and parents should understand that using sign-in, cloud saves, online play, friends or rankings involves processing player information even when ads are disabled.
Where applicable law or a service provider requires verified parental consent for a child's connected features, that consent is required before the child's information is submitted. The game's ad age screen is not a verified parental-consent process. Parents or guardians can contact Nubitdev@gmail.com about their child's information, request access or deletion, or ask how to limit use of connected features.
If we learn that we have processed a child's personal information without consent that was required, we will take steps to remove the information and restrict the relevant processing, as appropriate.
7. Local storage and the website
Nitro Kart uses local app storage to remember progress, preferences, account connections and, when used, privacy choices. Clearing the game's app data or uninstalling it can remove local progress and settings, subject to your device's backup behaviour. It does not by itself delete information already stored in cloud services or your Google account.
The Nitro Kart website does not require a game account to read the privacy policy. We do not add advertising trackers or a behavioural-analytics script to these pages. The hosting provider may process IP addresses and request metadata needed to serve and secure the website. Following an external link takes you to another provider's service and privacy practices.
8. Retention
Local game information remains on your device until it is cleared, replaced or removed. The current game does not impose an automatic expiry on a connected cloud-save profile or its Unity account. Cloud saves, associated account information and competition records can remain until deleted through a valid request or the relevant service's deletion process. Resetting a weekly ranking does not necessarily delete historical competition records.
Technical and support information is kept for as long as needed to operate and secure services, resolve requests and meet applicable obligations. Providers may have their own retention periods; Unity's current Relay documentation states that Relay personal data is retained for 30 days. If limited information must be retained after a deletion request for legal, security or fraud-prevention reasons, we will explain the reason and applicable retention to you.
9. Your choices and requests
You can choose whether to use connected features, manage available account permissions through Google, and change the game's device settings. Avoid using connected features if you do not want their associated processing. Removing a Google connection or uninstalling the game is not the same as requesting deletion of a cloud profile.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your information, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact Nubitdev@gmail.com to make a request. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to identify the relevant profile and verify that the request comes from its owner or an authorized parent or guardian.
10. Account and data deletion
To request deletion of your Nitro Kart account and its associated data, email Nubitdev@gmail.com with the subject “Nitro Kart account/data deletion”. State whether you want your game account and associated data deleted, or are requesting deletion of specific information. Include your game display name and, if available, your player identifier or linked Play Games gamer name. Do not include a password or sign-in token.
After verifying the relevant profile, we will remove the account and its associated cloud-save, collection, progression, social and ranking information from systems we control, and coordinate deletion with providers where needed, subject to limited lawful retention explained above. We will respond within the periods required by applicable law. Deletion is not merely account deactivation and can permanently remove saved progress and unlocks.
Deleting Nitro Kart data does not delete your Google account or information Google independently holds for its own platform. Clear local app data separately if you also want local copies removed from your device.
11. Security and international processing
We use the authentication, access controls and protected transport supported by our providers to help protect information. Cloud and account requests use encrypted transport such as HTTPS/TLS. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, transfers must use applicable safeguards, such as contractual protections. Provider privacy policies explain their own international processing and safeguards.
12. Legal grounds and changes
Where a law requires a legal basis, we process information to provide requested game services, for legitimate interests in reliability and security where permitted, to comply with legal obligations, or with consent where required. You can withdraw consent for consent-based processing, without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
We may update this policy when the game, its providers or its data practices change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice or request consent when required. An update does not automatically expand any consent you have given.
